some things about me

I have enjoyed a life-long love affair with art and design.

From small start-ups to non-profits to large, international corporations; from beer to tech to national educational programs, my experience is both unique and diverse. I am passionate about leading and connecting people and breathing life into ideas and brands.

My work experience includes designer agency side as a graphic designer, running a successful freelance hustle, co-launching a stationery company—and a very long line of ideas that never came to light that I categorize under aspiring entrepreneur. I am currently a Creative Director at Strut—a full-service agency in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I love that my work is diverse and allows me to collaborate with a wide range of clients, brands, talent and organizations. I have worked with small start-ups to establish their visual identity and brand strategy, mid-sized companies looking to reinvent themselves or grow within their market-place and well-established brands such as TC Energy, Glenbow Museum, Métis Nation of Saskatchewan, Royal Canadian Geographical Society of Canada and Canadian Geographic on marketing strategies and new initiatives.

I hold a Bachelor of Design with a major in visual communications from the Alberta College of Art and Design (now AU of the Arts).

I live for a good powder day on the mountain, I have two Golden Retrievers and a very energetic 6-year-old son, a love for interior design and a crazy addiction to tearing down walls.
